Ruti Tamir
Actress, mime, director and theater creator
Ruti began studying dance at the Bat-Dor School for Dance in
Tel Aviv at the age of 10 and continued studying dance, theater,
pantomime and physical theater in the USA and Europe.
Graduate of Miami Dade College (1989) with an AA degree in theater, and a
BFA degree in Theater from the Florida International University (1991) with
Theatre De L' Ange Fou in Paris, France, (1991-1993) and The Adaptors
Movement Theater Company in New York, with whom she also performed.
Performed professionally in Florida, and New York .
Lives and performs in Israel Since 1996. where she creates, directs, and writes for the theater as well as works as an actress on television and film.
Performs as an actress and mime actress, on stage and on Television.
Teaches Mime and physical theater to actors and dancers.
